Analytics Engineer

Analytics Engineer - 6 Months - Inside IR35 - London / Bristol Our client, a leading telecoms organisation in the search for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join a high performing data and analytics team.

This role will focus on designing and building analytics-ready data models, enabling self-service reporting, and delivering trusted datasets that support strategic business decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable analytical data models and reporting datasets.<br />Translate business requirements into robust, analytics-ready solutions.<br />Build and optimise SQL-based transformations within cloud data platforms.<br />Develop semantic models and data layers to support reporting and BI tools.<br />Work closely with stakeholders to define business metrics and reporting requirements.<br />Support the delivery of self-service analytics capabilities across the business.Required Experience Proven experience in an Analytics Engineer, Data Modeller or similar role.<br />Strong SQL skills with experience building analytical data models.<br />Experience working with cloud data platforms such as GCP/BigQuery.<br />Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, star schemas and data warehousing concepts.<br />Experience developing reporting datasets and enabling self-service analytics.<br />Ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate requirements into data solutions.Desirable Experience with Looker, LookML or similar semantic modelling tools.<br />Experience with dbt and modern data stack technologies.<br />Background within customer, consumer, commercial or telecoms analytics environments.<br />Python scripting and automation experience.If the role aligns with your interest please apply with your updated CV
