Job Description

Role: Node.js Developer

Location: New York - Onsite (Face-to-Face Interview Required)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Node.js Developer with experience in AWS serverless technologies to build and support applications for a cloud-based contact center platform. In this role, you will develop AWS Lambda functions, integrate with Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, APIs, CRM systems, and backend applications, and help create secure and scalable customer self-service solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Node.js applications using AWS Lambda.
  • Build and enhance IVR and self-service solutions using Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex.
  • Integrate contact center applications with CRM systems, databases, backend applications, and third-party APIs.
  • Develop REST APIs and serverless microservices.
  • Work with AWS services such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
  • Follow secure coding practices to protect customer and application data.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitHub.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while improving performance and scalability.
  • Write unit, integration, and regression tests.
  • Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.
  • Work closely with architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Node.js development.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Strong experience with AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with Amazon Connect and/or Amazon Lex.
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and Microservices.
  • Experience with AWS services:
    • API Gateway
    • DynamoDB
    • S3
    • CloudWatch
    • IAM
    • SNS
    • SQS
    • EventBridge
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of cloud security and secure software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience integrating CRM systems and third-party applications.
  • Knowledge of AWS DevOps and deployment automation.
  • Experience developing applications for contact center or IVR platforms.
