Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, governance, and operational management of a large-scale Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud migrations, networking, security, disaster recovery, and enterprise cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Implement and manage Azure networking, security policies, and governance.
• Develop and maintain enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, dashboards, alerts, and observability tools.
• Support production environments by troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues.
• Drive vulnerability remediation and cloud security initiatives.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, security, and operations teams.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Microsoft Azure infrastructure administration and engineering.
• 7+ years of Terraform (preferred) or other Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Bicep, etc.).
• 10+ years of planning and executing Azure cloud migrations.
• 10+ years of enterprise backup and disaster recovery strategy implementation.
• 10+ years implementing Azure networking and security policies.
• 10+ years using Azure Monitor for monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and observability.
• 10+ years of vulnerability remediation and cloud security initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and cloud architecture.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent).
• Networking certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent.
• Experience working in large enterprise, mission-critical environments.
