Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, governance, and operational management of a large-scale Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud migrations, networking, security, disaster recovery, and enterprise cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure.
- Implement and manage Azure networking, security policies, and governance.
- Develop and maintain enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, dashboards, alerts, and observability tools.
- Support production environments by troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues.
- Drive vulnerability remediation and cloud security initiatives.
- Collaborate with architecture, development, security, and operations teams.
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of Microsoft Azure infrastructure administration and engineering.
- 7+ years of Terraform (preferred) or other Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Bicep, etc.).
- 10+ years of planning and executing Azure cloud migrations.
- 10+ years of enterprise backup and disaster recovery strategy implementation.
- 10+ years implementing Azure networking and security policies.
- 10+ years using Azure Monitor for monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and observability.
- 10+ years of vulnerability remediation and cloud security initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and cloud architecture.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent).
- Networking certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent.
- Experience working in large enterprise, mission-critical environments.
