Special Education Needs Teacher | Maidenhead, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are a dynamic organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide impactful educational support.

The Role

• Deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people aged KS1-KS5 with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, remote, or hybrid tutoring sessions.
• Plan and deliver trauma-informed, flexible tutoring and mentoring.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools.
• Report on lessons and provide feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND/SEMH.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects (Maths, English, Science).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
