Job Description

We are partnered with a leading global investment bank, who is continuing to invest in and expand its Prime Services and Delta One Quantitative Analytics team and is seeking multiple Vice President-level Quantitative Strategists in New York. This front-office role partners directly with Equity Financing and Delta One trading desks to develop quantitative models, analytics, and decision-support tools focused on risk management, inventory optimization, balance sheet efficiency, and revenue generation opportunities.

The successful candidate will work closely with traders, sales teams, and senior business stakeholders while driving the development of scalable quantitative solutions that have a direct impact on trading and business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance quantitative models and analytics supporting Equity Financing and Delta One trading activities
  • Build and maintain Python-based libraries, tools, and analytical infrastructure used by front-office stakeholders
  • Apply statistical modeling, optimization techniques, and data analysis to improve inventory utilization, resource allocation, and capital efficiency
  • Partner directly with trading, sales, and technology teams to deliver business-driven quantitative solutions
  • Analyze large data sets to identify market trends, risk exposures, and commercial opportunities
  • Drive multiple initiatives simultaneously and help shape the quantitative strategy of the business
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices across quantitative development

Requirements

  • Vice President-level experience as a Quantitative Strategist, Quantitative Analyst, or similar front-office quantitative professional
  • Strong understanding of equity markets, equity products, and trading workflows
  • Advanced Python development skills and experience building production-quality analytical tools
  • Strong background in mathematics, statistics, quantitative modeling, optimization, or machine learning
  • Experience working directly with traders and business stakeholders in a fast-paced front-office environment
  • Track record of delivering projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Experience

  • Equity Financing, Prime Brokerage, Prime Services, Securities Lending, or Delta One experience
  • Knowledge of products such as equity swaps, futures, options, repo, and margin lending
  • Experience with optimization methods such as linear programming and resource optimization
  • Exposure to quantitative infrastructure, workflow automation, databases, cloud technologies, or CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Jupyter, Dash, APIs, or similar platforms
