The Role

• Manage naval architecture aspects of major aircraft carrier program systems integration, providing platform perspective.
• Develop and set engineering policy for compliance by project engineers, PARMs/ISEAs, and contractors.
• Plan, design, and report on high-risk engineering operations for system and aircraft carrier design.
• Represent engineering policy matters to negotiate decisions impacting system of systems and ship integration.
• Demonstrate experience in planning and managing complex programs for ship design, maintenance, repair, and development.
• Evaluate and incorporate the latest developments in Naval Architecture and Engineering Systems.

What You'll Need

• A professional engineering degree or equivalent qualifications (EI/EIT/PE, FE exam, or specific coursework).
• At least one year of specialized experience in managing systems engineering projects for ship or ship system design, development, or modernization.
• Experience in planning and managing complex programs related to naval systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Certification within the Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce.
• US Citizenship required.
