The Role • Operate specialized equipment such as hostlers, top loaders, and cranes to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to all safety protocols. • Relocate and stack containers within the intermodal yard to optimize space and workflow. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail. • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
