Job Description

Senior Analyst supporting Vertex's Financial Planning & Analysis team. Provides financial analyses, performance management, and decision support across assigned business functions. Builds models and forecasts to help functions achieve strategic and operational goals.

Responsibilities
Conduct monthly financial performance management and forecasting for assigned functions
Support budget, forecast, and long-range planning processes with forward-looking analysis
Participate in monthly/quarterly accounting close and SOX compliance requirements
Support business case development for capital investments and strategic decisions
Perform headcount reporting, forecasting, and planning activities
Requirements
~ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
~2+ years of relevant financial experience or equivalent education/experience combination
~ Biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience
~ Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
~ Hyperion knowledge
~ Strong financial modeling, analysis, and valuation skills
~ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Compensation:
$89,600 - $134,400 base
