Role Overview
Seeking a Lead DataStage Engineer with approximately 10 years of hands-on development experience to design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale ETL pipelines, batch automation workflows, and database integrations.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and deploy robust ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage parallel framework.
* Author advanced Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate batch execution workflows, file transfers, directory management, and error handling.
* Write, optimize, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and analytical queries.
* Conduct performance tuning across DataStage jobs, Unix scripts, and Oracle database queries to support high-volume data processing.
* Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specs and dimensional data models.
* Manage batch job scheduling (e.g., Control-M, Autosys), production deployments, system monitoring, and Tier-3 escalation support.
* Maintain data quality standards, code repository management, and comprehensive technical documentation.

Technical Requirements
IBM DataStage: 8+ years of hands-on experience building complex parallel jobs, sequences, shared containers, and custom stages.
Unix/Linux Platform: 8+ years of expertise in command-line utilities, bash/Korn shell scripting, process monitoring, and batch process control.
Oracle & PL/SQL: 8+ years of proficiency with Oracle databases, execution plans, index tuning, partitioning, and writing performant PL/SQL logic.
Data Warehousing: Deep understanding of ETL architecture, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1/2/3).
