Job Description

Starting Pay Range $20.00 - $22.50 - Hourly Depending on experience Job Description: About Us Skyrocket, Inc. is an innovative education company dedicated to transforming learning through technology. Our new learning platform provides engaging, effective, and accessible educational experiences for schools, educators, and organizations focused on learning. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to help introduce our platform and services to new clients and expand our market presence.

Position Overview We are looking for an energetic Sales Coordinator to support our business development efforts and drive new customer acquisition. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating value, and helping organizations discover solutions that improve learning outcomes. As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, generating leads, conducting outreach, and supporting the sales process. You will work closely with our Sales Account Executives to help grow our client base and contribute to the company's success.

This is a high-activity, phone-forward role. A significant portion of each day is spent researching accounts and making outbound calls to prospects who are not expecting to hear from us. We publish our performance expectations up front and ramp new hires over 90 days rather than expecting full production on day one. This role will have a home office but will require mandatory 20+ days a year in person for company events and professional development. We have a lot of fun! Most of these events will be in the Pasadena, CA location primarily. Local CA candidates preferred.

**There will be bonus incentives paid out as well, based on qualified meetings scheduled and completed with decision makers**

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients, including schools, districts, and educational organizations. • Build and maintain accurate client profiles for each target account. • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails and networking activities. • Schedule and participate in product demonstrations and discovery meetings. • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients. • Clearly communicate the value and benefits of our learning platform and services. • Track all sales activities, leads, and opportunities using CRM software, logging every call and its outcome the same business day. • Follow up with prospects and nurture leads through the sales pipeline. • Meet or exceed the individual activity and performance metrics outlined below. • Stay informed about industry trends, educational technology, and competitor offerings. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily, including to prospects who have had no prior contact with us. Comfortable speaking with prospective clients by phone, video conference, and email. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems. Preferred Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience. Interest in education, learning technologies, or EdTech solutions. Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Sales Force
