The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from various transport modes such as railcars and trucks.
• Safely position and organize containers within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations effectively.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred but not essential.
• A strong commitment to safety standards and a keen eye for detail.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and climb ladders/stairs.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team.
