The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers within an intermodal yard.
• Load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks accurately and safely.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations efficiently.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery or in a logistics/industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, with open availability.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
