Digital and IT Analyst

• Position Title: IT Technical Analyst
• Contract Type: Permanent (Onsite or Hybrid)
• Location: Loughborough, Stevenage, or Shepshed, UK

Role Summary

IT Technical Analyst Provides Tier 1/2 hardware, software, and infrastructure support across regional sites. Balances daily desk-side IT support with hands-on involvement in infrastructure maintenance, procurement, and Agile-driven IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

• User Support: Deliver desk-side help desk support, resolve tickets (ServiceNow), and create end-user training materials.
• Systems & Infrastructure: Maintain PCs, servers, networks (LAN/WAN), Active Directory, backups, and air-gapped systems.
• Compliance & Procurement: Own site KPIs, handle hardware/software procurement, and maintain security controls (SOX, Cyber Essentials, CMMC).
• Operations: Join on-call rotations and apply continuous improvement methods to reduce costs and boost efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in IT support or infrastructure administration.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Technical Skills: Windows OS, Active Directory, MS Office, ITSM tools (ServiceNow), hardware repair, and basic networking/security.
• Core Traits: Strong troubleshooting, customer service mindset, clear communication, and process compliance.
