Senior Data Scientist / Lead AI/ML Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior Data Scientists, Lead AI/ML Engineers, and Principal AI Engineers with 10+ years of experience in developing, deploying, and scaling advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and production-grade AI systems. Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and leading enterprise AI initiatives is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and AI-driven solutions for complex business problems.

• Lead end-to-end data science initiatives, from data exploration and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.

• Develop predictive models, statistical models, classification algorithms, regression models, and forecasting solutions.

• Design and implement deep learning solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Build scalable AI/ML pipelines and deploy production-ready models in cloud environments.

• Apply generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and natural language processing where applicable.

• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.

• Lead model validation, performance evaluation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

• Implement MLOps practices for model deployment, versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

• Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and establish AI/ML engineering best practices.

• Ensure responsible AI implementation, model explainability, data privacy, and compliance with relevant standards.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.

• Expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, probability, and experimental design.

• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and optimization.

• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade machine learning models.

• Experience with SQL, large datasets, and data processing workflows.

• Familiarity with AWS AI/ML services or Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI and related cloud technologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions.

• Proven experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, or driving enterprise AI projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering.

• Experience with NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems, or advanced predictive analytics.

• Knowledge of MLOps, MLflow, model monitoring, CI/CD, and automated model deployment.

• Experience with AWS SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent AI/ML cloud services.

• Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, and distributed data processing.

• Experience designing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AI solutions.

• Previous experience as a Senior Data Scientist, Lead AI/ML Engineer, Principal Data Scientist, or AI/ML Architect.
