Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract-To-Hire
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Lead Web Content Administrator to manage and enhance digital content across web and intranet platforms. The role focuses on CMS administration, content management, web analytics, search, usability, templates, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain web/intranet content, CMS templates, workflows, and publishing processes.
Administer and maintain Liferay CMS, including page templates and scalable content structures.
Monitor Google Analytics / GA360 and other web analytics tools to improve usability and engagement.
Support site search, information architecture, knowledge taxonomy, and content strategy.
Perform content QA, proofreading, usability testing, and Section 508 accessibility checks.
Work with developers, content owners, and business teams to ensure consistent digital experiences.
Support web design, user-centric practices, testing, and continuous content improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8+ years of Web Content Management / Web Administration.
Strong CMS Administration experience.
Liferay experience preferred.
Google Analytics / GA360 & Web Analytics.
Site Search, Information Architecture & Knowledge Taxonomy.
UX / Web Usability.
HTML & CSS.
Content workflows, templates, publishing & QA.
Strong communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Nice to Have: Angular, TeamSite/SharePoint, digital media management, content strategy.
