Position Summary

The client is seeking a senior IBM LinuxONE Architect who can design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Linux infrastructure running on IBM LinuxONE. The architect will lead infrastructure modernization, virtualization, security, cloud migration, and automation initiatives while ensuring maximum availability and performance for mission-critical workloads.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design enterprise infrastructure on IBM LinuxONE.
• Architect highly available Linux environments.
• Build secure and scalable infrastructure for critical applications.
• Design LPARs and virtualization using IBM technologies.
• Consolidate Linux workloads onto LinuxONE.
• Lead migration from distributed Linux servers to LinuxONE.
• Optimize system performance and capacity planning.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Integrate LinuxONE with hybrid cloud environments.
• Implement security best practices including encryption and quantum-safe security.
• Work with engineering, application, database, networking, and security teams.
• Create infrastructure standards and architecture documentation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and administration.
