Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Design Lead Engineer
Location: Osseo, WI
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support Mechanical Design, Sustaining Engineering, New Product Development (NPD), Engineering Change Management, and Value Engineering initiatives. The role involves 3D CAD modeling, 2D drafting, product modifications, engineering documentation, and cost optimization activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain 3D part and assembly models.
  • Develop and update 2D manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
  • Support product modifications, engineering changes (ECO/ECN), and design improvements.
  • Contribute to NPD projects, including concept development, prototyping, and design releases.
  • Maintain BOMs, engineering documentation, and CAD data.
  • Drive value engineering, design standardization, manufacturability, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Support manufacturing teams in resolving design and production issues.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor. Revit experience will be added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with BOM management, ECO/ECN processes, and engineering documentation.
  • Knowledge of DFM, VAVE, and product lifecycle management.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • 10-12 years of experience in mechanical product design, sustaining engineering, or NPD.
This role supports activities including 3D modeling, 2D drafting, CAD conversion, BOM management, engineering documentation, sustaining engineering, NPD, and value engineering (VAVE).
