Technical Business Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technology Solutions Designer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role will manage and own requirements refinement, deliverable decomposition, and end-to-end technology solutions design. The candidate will support regulatory and business enablement payments initiatives across various regions, advocating for and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices, end-to-end design, and engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

• Drive requirements refinement process with business, operations and tech stakeholders; gather, analyze and document business and system requirements; create HLD and functional requirements using Agile SAF hierarchies
• Work closely with stakeholders including Enterprise Architecture and Engineering teams to provide E2E technical solutions which successfully deliver business functionalities
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable, resilient platform designs, decompose complex initiatives into deliverable increments, and ensure alignment across core processing layers
• Establish and enforce non-functional requirements including resiliency, scalability, SLA, availability, security, observability, and operational readiness
• Identify architectural impediments, develop remediation plans, and drive resolution across business and technology stakeholders; evaluate and present multiple tech solutions for stakeholder decisioning
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide governance to ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards, technology strategies, and risk controls
• Partner with Product Managers, Project Managers, and Engineering teams to prioritize technology-focused backlog items and ensure timely delivery of business outcomes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of overall experience
• Strong domain knowledge in core payments products lifecycle and systems (including channels, middleware, payment engine, sanctions, reporting, accounting, clearing, etc)
• Strong knowledge of distributed architecture patterns, including microservices based design, containerized deployment models, API driven integrations, and event based messaging using platforms such as MQ and Kafka
• Expertise in evaluating technology tradeoffs, conducting architecture reviews, and guiding enterprise design decisions
• Experience using tools such as Visio, JIRA, Confluence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
• Experience working with payments rails/products, such as FedWire, Chips, TCH, SEPA, Wires, ACH, Real Time Payments, SWIFT, ISO etc
• Flexible, self-starter, fast-learner willing and able to quickly learn new products, technologies and skills

Desired skills:

• Hands on experience with AI models and tools, such as Copilot, Claude, etc is a plus
• Bilingual with Spanish is strongly preferred

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
