Job description

We are seeking a full-time ServiceNow Senior Application Developer to support the development, administration, and ongoing enhancement of the ServiceNow platform of the Agency.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Ten or more years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience, including

  • Ownership or co-ownership of a ServiceNow instance.

  • Strong foundational knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including:

  • Forms, lists, tables, and dictionary configuration

  • Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions

  • Roles and Access Control Lists (ACLs)

  • Update sets and platform administration

  • Proficiency in JavaScript for ServiceNow scripting (business rules, client scripts, UI policies)

  • Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs

  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent ITSM process knowledge

  • Experience working in a public sector, K–12, education, or other highly regulated environment
  • Experience building or supporting system integrations using REST APIs, Integration Hub, and data imports

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred

  • Experience with one or more ServiceNow application areas such as ITSM, HRSD, S2P, CSM, or SecOps.

  • Locals / DMV based candidates considered
