Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant – PACE Program
Pay Range: $32.40 – $45.36/hr + comprehensive benefits

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our mission-driven PACE team, serving seniors who wish to remain independent and engaged in their communities. In this full-time onsite role, you’ll work closely with a Physical Therapist to support participant evaluations, implement treatment plans, and deliver rehabilitative interventions that promote mobility, strength, safety, and overall quality of life.

You’ll be part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to whole-person care—helping older adults maintain independence, avoid hospitalization, and remain safely at home. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide hands-on support to a population that deeply benefits from rehabilitative expertise.

    Responsibilities
    • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized PT treatment plans
    • Provide therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, functional activities, gait training, orthotics/prosthetics training, and rehabilitation interventions
    • Perform assessments to determine participant abilities and treatment needs
    • Deliver therapies that relieve pain, restore function, and support mobility goals

Requirements to Apply

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (required); emphasis in geriatrics preferred
  • Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of one year of PTA experience with the geriatric population (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
