Level 1-2 IT Support Technician

Join Podium IT as a client-facing Melbourne IT support technician working across remote support, onsite assistance and the technology environments used by small businesses and healthcare practices. This role suits a capable support technician who enjoys solving problems, communicating clearly and taking ownership of day-to-day client requests. You will work with the Podium IT team across helpdesk, remote support and planned onsite work.

• Respond to client support requests professionally and promptly;
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, devices, printers, networks and common business applications;
• Provide remote support and attend client sites when required;
• Document work, decisions and useful technical information;
• Escalate risk and complex issues clearly while remaining accountable for follow-through;
• Support healthcare practices and coordinate appropriately with clinical software vendors.

• Strong customer service and written and verbal communication;
• Practical Windows desktop and Microsoft 365 support;
• Fundamental understanding of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi Fi, switching and routing;
• Structured troubleshooting and attention to detail;
• A security aware approach to identity, access and sensitive information;
• Ability to manage priorities and ask for help early.
