QA Automation Engineer (AI)(10+ Years Experience)

Job Summary
Must have hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JavaScript, Postman, and SQL, along with experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot for test case creation, test data generation, and productivity improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Functional Testing
Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, End-to-End, Regression, Smoke, and UAT testing.
Validate application workflows and business rules across web and API layers.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to clarify requirements and identify gaps.
Automation Testing
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks.
Build and execute automated test suites using:
Playwright
Selenium WebDriver
JavaScript / TypeScript
Develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze automation results and troubleshoot failures.
API Testing & API Automation
Create and execute API test cases using Postman.
Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes, headers, and authentication mechanisms.
Develop API automation suites using JavaScript.
Perform contract and integration testing for APIs.
Validate API performance and error handling.
Database Testing
Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend validation.
Verify data integrity, data transformation, and business rules.
Validate API-to-database and UI-to-database data consistency.
Perform data reconciliation and root cause analysis.
Defect Management
Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues.
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely defect resolution.
Agile Participation
Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.

Required Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of QA experience with both Manual and Automation Testing.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with:
