The Role

• Serve as the front-line customer service associate, creating a welcoming environment and making a positive impression.
• Handle teller transactions, manage cash drawers, and maintain knowledge of vault, coin, and cash procedures.
• Originate new accounts for commercial and consumer clients, recommending products and services based on needs.
• Assist with consumer loan applications and closings.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and in person, acting as a liaison between customers and other bank departments.
• Participate in branch opening/closing procedures and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations.

What You'll Need

• Strong math and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities, with a knack for cross-selling.
• High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or two years of related experience is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of bank operations, products, and services, including relevant laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in using standard office equipment and computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently with a high degree of accuracy.
