Data Technology Consultant - Data & AI Modernization

We are seeking a seasoned Data Technology Consultant to join our expanding Data & AI practice and help drive Data & AI Modernization Programs for EPAM clients. This role bridges technology and business value: you will help enterprises retire legacy data warehouses and ETL platforms, move to a modern lakehouse stack, and unlock analytics and AI use cases that were out of reach before. You will design innovative modernization solutions, own presales end-to-end, and bring strategic advisory plus deep technical know-how to senior client stakeholders across worldwide industries.

Req# Responsibilities Lead End-to-End Presales Lifecycle: Own opportunity solution design, technical scoping, effort estimation Drive Client Discovery & Advisory: Facilitate stakeholder discovery workshops and short-term assessment engagements to formulate comprehensive legacy migration roadmaps and enterprise data strategies Design Modern Cloud Architectures: Architect scalable, cloud-native Data & AI solutions (utilizing Databricks, Snowflake, and medallion architecture patterns) optimized for business outcomes Bridge Business & Technology: Collaborate seamlessly across sales, delivery, and technical expert teams to ensure proposed solutions perfectly match client objectives and deliver measurable value Requirements Professional Background: 7+ years of experience in data technology consulting, data architecture, or solution architecture delivering enterprise-scale data platforms Modern Cloud & Lakehouse Platforms: Proven hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) across major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) Legacy Migration Experience: Strong understanding of legacy data warehousing and traditional ETL tools (e.g., Oracle, DB2, Informatica, SSIS) and enterprise migration challenges Track Record of Modernization: Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-workload enterprise data modernization and migration programs into production Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and executive-level advisory skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business narratives
