Senior Oracle Database Administrator with Security Clearance

About the Job This position requires creating and managing standalone Oracle databases proficiently. Also, this position requires the ability to identify and triage issues, perform server maintenance, execute software installations and patching, maintain High Availability (HA) systems and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols. Need to have the ability to work independently, collaborate within and across division teams, and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management. Job Requirements

• Provisioning andConfig: Defines standards and golden configs
• Backup/Restore: Governs strategy and drills
• Patching: Sets cadence and risk controls
• Performance Tuning: Internals/optimizer/storage tuning
• High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR): Architects multi-region DR
• Monitoring and Alerting: Define SLOs and unified taxonomy
• Security and Compliance: Owns policy and audits
• Scripting and Automation: Standards and governance
• Incident Management: Incident command and prevention

Required Skills

• U.S Citizenship
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Oracle.
• Professional Oracle certifications required
• Experience in: MariaDB, Oracle, Oracle Grid, Oracle RMAN and MS Access.
