Job Description

This is a role working for leading international automotive supplier specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality components and assemblies. They work on a global scale and partner with many high end OEMs / Tier 1 suppliers. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where engineering excellence, safety and quality are at the heart of everything they do.

You will play a key role in the delivery of new product introduction projects, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards and within budget.

We need a strong project engineer/manager who is confident managing projects from start through to completion. Also need you to be from a technical background as the projects you will be managing need you to be able to understand the requirements and hold credible conversations with customers.

Key responsibilities:

- Ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved at every stage of the project lifecycle.

- Lead project review meetings.

- Liaise with internal teams and management.

- Budget control.

- Identify, escalate and resolve project risks.

Required skills/experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of working within projects focused positions

- Manufacturing background

- Degree within engineering would be highly desirable

- Confident managing multiple projects

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
