As a LGV Driver (C1) based in the Tonbridge, Kent, you’ll be responsible for:  

• Driving a 7.5T lorry delivering plumbing and heating products to our customers (This will involve manual handling heavy stock including boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks)

• Deliveries mainly in London but also the South East e.g. Kent, Essex, Reading and Berkshire.

• Carrying out roughly 8 - 12 deliveries a day 95% of the time to building sites

• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects

• Providing excellent customer service at all times

This role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between 07.00am - 4.00pm.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Full UK Driving License and HGV Licence (Category C license)

• Driver Qualification Card (CPC)

• Digital Tachograph Card

• Experience in driving a 7.5T Lorry

• Experience driving in London

• A track record of good customer service
