Senior Project Manager - Drylining Location: London<br />Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent<br />Salary: Competitive + Car Allowance + Benefits About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our growing drylining and interior fit-out team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple drylining and SFS projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with extensive drylining experience to play a key leadership role within a dynamic and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee multiple drylining, suspended ceiling, partitioning, SFS and interior fit-out projects.<br />Manage project programmes, resources, budgets and procurement activities.<br />Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.<br />Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company standards.<br />Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.<br />Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings and client reviews.<br />Manage project costs, valuations, variations and financial reporting.<br />Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company policies.<br />Prepare and present project reports to senior management.<br />Support tender reviews and pre-construction planning activities.<br />Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.<br />Mentor and support Project Managers, Site Managers and operational staff.
Essential Requirements Minimum 8 years' experience within the drylining and interior fit-out sector.<br />Proven track record of successfully managing projects valued between £1m and £20m+.<br />Strong understanding of drylining systems, partitions, ceilings, SFS and associated trades.<br />Excellent commercial awareness and budget management skills.<br />Strong leadership and people management abilities.<br />Experience working with main contractors and commercial clients.<br />Excellent communication and negotiation skills.<br />Full UK Driving Licence.<br />Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Desirable Qualifications SMSTS Certificate.<br />CSCS Black Card (Manager).<br />First Aid at Work.<br />NVQ Level 6 or above in Construction Management or equivalent.<br />Relevant construction-related degree or professional qualification.
