Job Description

Title: Radar Engineer

 

Location: Huntsville, AL, onsite

Duration: 1 year+

Work Schedule: 9/80

Start Date: 11/2

 

Project Details:

Defense contractor developing small, low-cost missile seekers on a funded program. This role is systems-focused (less software-heavy) and centers on radar phenomenology analysis, with heavy modeling and simulation of radar performance for a compact RF seeker.

 

Musts:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Onsite in Huntsville, AL
  • Strong radar and RF experience
  • Radar modeling and simulation experience, likely in MATLAB
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Electrical engineering background with strong software skills

 

Pluses:

  • Missile seeker experience (helpful but less critical here)
  • Prime developer experience (Lockheed, Raytheon, Boeing, Northrop)
  • Aerospace engineering background
  • Hands-on work with real systems, not just remote analysis
