Job Description

Treasure Island Resort & Casino is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support critical hospitality and gaming systems in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure databases, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity across casino, hotel, and resort applications. You will manage backups, disaster recovery, and security, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server and related databases for resort and casino systems
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, capacity, and scalability
  • Manage backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Implement and maintain database security, access controls, and auditing
  • Troubleshoot database issues, incidents, and performance bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and BI teams on data needs and changes
  • Create and maintain database documentation, standards, and best practices
  • Support deployments, upgrades, and patches in production and non-production environments
