The Role

• Assist in the planning and preparation of nutritious meals, adhering to dietary requirements and food safety standards.
• Support the delivery of high-quality catering services in a nursery setting.
• Learn and implement safe kitchen practices, including stock rotation and food hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in kitchen and dining areas.
• Develop effective working relationships within the catering team.
• Actively work towards completing apprenticeship qualifications.

What You'll Need

• A passion for developing a career in the catering industry.
• Evidence of Maths and English achievements (GCSE grade 3/D or above or Level 1 Functional Skills).
• UK residency for at least 3 consecutive years to meet funding eligibility.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
• (Desirable) Previous experience in catering or food preparation.
• (Desirable) A Level 2 qualification in Food Hygiene.
