The Role

• Manage and maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of fixed asset accounts and related sub-ledgers.
• Support accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment runs.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures according to HGB standards.
• Act as a point of contact for internal departments and external auditors regarding fixed assets.

What You'll Need

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, ideally with further training in finance or bookkeeping.
• Several years of experience specifically in fixed asset accounting.
• Solid understanding of German Commercial Code (HGB) and tax regulations relevant to fixed assets.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• A structured, independent, and precise working style with strong teamwork skills.
