Data Engineer (Onsite)

Job Description: 

• Expert-level SQL, including performance tuning against very large datasets.
• Strong Python skills for data pipeline development, automation, and ML/AI tooling.
• Deep experience building and maintaining production ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses/lakes.
• Strong data modeling and dimensional design skills (facts/dimensions, star schemas).
• Hands-on experience building data infrastructure for AI/ML use cases — feature engineering, training datasets, and/or pipelines supporting LLM/GenAI applications.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and distributed query/processing engines (e.g., Presto/Spark/Hive-style systems).
• Proven ability to work with ambiguous requirements and partner cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Software Asset Management, HR Data, Governance, supply chain, manufacturing, hardware operations, procurement, or vendor management data domains.
• Experience with Flexera asset management tool
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines.
• Experience with MLOps / feature stores and productionizing ML models at scale.
• Familiarity with GenAI/LLM APIs and prompt-based data extraction or enrichment workflows.
• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations for operational and executive audiences.
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and a track record of turning messy operational data into trusted metrics and AI-ready assets.
