Duties
- Monitor inmate activity and enforce facility rules to maintain order and safety.
- Conduct thorough background checks on new inmates and visitors to ensure security compliance.
- Write detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and security breaches using clear and professional report writing skills.
- Report data accurately through official logs and data reporting systems to support facility operations.
- Perform security checks including pat-downs, searches, and surveillance to prevent contraband entry or escapes.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies with CPR certification and follow safety regulations to protect all individuals on-site.
- Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining strict adherence to security protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or knowledge in law enforcement or criminal law is highly desirable.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, detailed reports and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and data reporting tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and assess potential risks effectively.
- Knowledge of security practices, safety regulations, and compliance standards within correctional environments.
