Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Washington
Position Summary
Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our dynamic healthcare team in Washington. This role emphasizes providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across various settings, including outpatient clinics and specialty services. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage health concerns for a diverse patient population.
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
- Create and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding health issues, prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care using electronic health records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote best practices in patient care.
- Stay current with evolving medical knowledge and advancements in practice.
- Support a culture of teamwork, communication, and shared decision-making.

Qualifications & Certifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Valid state licensure in Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Clinical experience in primary care or specialty areas preferred.
- New graduates will be considered based on clinical rotation experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
