IT Training Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce's client in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an experienced IT Training Specialist to deliver training and support for clinical and business applications within a healthcare environment. This role will focus on Cerner end-user training, new-hire education, system upgrades, go-live support, optimization, and development of training materials. This role is hybrid: approximately 70% onsite/30% remote - local Los Angeles candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person and virtual training for clinical and business applications
• Support Cerner inpatient and ambulatory workflows
• Provide new-hire, go-live, remediation, and optimization training
• Develop job aids, quick reference guides, presentations, eLearning, and video tutorials
• Partner with clinical and IT teams to understand workflows and training needs
• Assist with application troubleshooting and post-implementation support
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning materials

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2+ years of healthcare IT training experience
• Hands-on Cerner or EPIC training experience required
• Knowledge of inpatient and ambulatory clinical workflows
• Experience developing training materials and delivering classroom/virtual instruction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SnagIt experience preferred
• ServiceNow, Kronos, Lawson, or similar application training is a plus
• Must be local to the Los Angeles area and comfortable working primarily onsite
• Experience utilizing SnagIt
• Experience working in a large and dynamic project environment preferred
• Proven track record of excellence and commitment as a professional
• Position is Hybrid - approximately 70% onsite, 30% remote

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
