Key duties and responsibilities
Applicants should understand AMSA's business and our mission.
The IT Project teams are small resource groups working closely with business teams, so ability to perform cohesively in this space is key.

Agencies should not submit candidates that do not meet the mandatory criteria.
This role is Canberra based. AMSA will consider options for candidates to work outside of ACT however Canberra staff are preferred.
This is a new position not a market test.
A rate has deliberately not been set and AMSA will be using the Digital Marketplace rate guide to determine what an average rate could be.
The role requires BASELINE Security clearance. AMSA may sponsor higher clearances but will not consider candidates that do not currently possess this clearance.
Timeline for start is a guide only and will depend on evaluation and notice period time frames.
AMSA IT roles routinely approach all 800+ sellers to the marketplace. As a result, detailed feedback on candidates is only offered to shortlisted and interviewed candidates.

The planning, designing, creation, amending, verification, testing and documentation of new and amended software components in order to deliver agreed value to stakeholders. The identification, creation and application of agreed software development and security standards and processes.
