Position: IT Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 12 months

Information Technology Services Division is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the procurement, configuration, scheduling, deployment and close-out of new devices for Admin and Legal staff statewide. A successful candidate will have the ability to organize a diverse team of technical and soft skilled talent, conduct meetings with stakeholders, establish effective communications, maintain a high degree of project transparency, and accurately report program status throughout its life cycle.

8 Years REQUIRED Experience of the following; * progressive IT project management experience. 8 Years PREFERRED Experience of the following * Demonstrated leadership of hardware deployment or enterprise refresh programs. * Expertise in SDLC, PMBOK, Agile delivery coordination, change management, and enterprise IT operations. * Proven ability to communicate clearly with executives, technical teams, and end users. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple vendors and cross functional teams. * Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and standard OAG workflow tools. * PMP, CSM, or ITIL certifications. * Experience with Texas state agencies. Prior experience supporting statewide IT. Experience organizing logistics for deployments exceeding 800+ devices.

Candidate must be within 50 miles of Austin TX. Hybrid onsite / telework role
