Investor Relations Analyst

Your Role:

As an Analyst, Investor Relations, you'll be working with senior leadership to build stronger market-facing communication, investor engagement, and event execution capacity in Los Angeles. You'll translate company updates, executive priorities, capital markets activities, and event moments into clear, professional, and compliant communication materials. You will primarily focus on investor relations including retail investor community engagement, investor communications, roadshows, market feedback tracking, and regular IR execution support.

This role will help strengthen the company’s communication with retail investors, monitor investor sentiment and key discussion topics, support IR materials and events, and ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant messaging across investor-facing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day communication and engagement with the retail investor community through approved investor relations channels, including investor inquiries, community feedback, retail investor Q&A, and investor-facing communication initiatives.
• Monitor retail investor discussions, market sentiment, common questions, investor concerns, and misinformation across public and approved channels, and prepare regular summaries for the IR and management teams.
• Assist in preparing retail investor communication materials, including FAQs, investor updates, talking points, community responses, website content, and other investor-facing materials.
• Support the development of capital markets middle-office systems, including financing trackers, investor trackers, post-closing trackers, capital structure models, dilution models, and management dashboards.
• Support regular Investor Relations activities, including investor presentations, earnings materials, press releases, shareholder communications, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and investor meeting preparation.
• Maintain and update investor databases, retail investor contact lists, engagement trackers, Q&A logs, feedback reports, and IR activity dashboards.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Communications, Marketing, and Capital Markets teams to ensure all investor communications are accurate, consist and compliant with public company disclosure requirements.
• Assist in tracking company news, market performance, peer activity, social media sentiment, shareholder feedback, and retail investor trends to support IR strategy and messaging.
• Support the preparation of management updates and internal reports summarizing retail investor sentiment, key investor questions, market feedback, and recommended communication priorities.
• Help organize and support retail investor engagement initiatives, including webinars, shareholder events, online Q&A sessions, investor community updates, and other investor communication programs.
• Assist with proofreading, formatting, and quality control of IR materials to ensure consistency across investor presentations, press releases, website updates, FAQs, and other public-facing content.

Basic Qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field;
• 1–2 years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, financial communications, corporate communications, equity research, finance, public relations, or related areas.
• Strong interest in public markets, retail investor behavior, shareholder communications, and listed-company investor relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate company updates and financial information into clear, investor-friendly messaging.
• Basic understanding of financial statements, stock market dynamics, public company disclosure, and investor communication best practices.
• Experience with social media, online communities, retail investor platforms, investor databases, CRM tools, or communication analytics is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and ability to work with sensitive information in a public company environment.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Communications, Marketing, Finance, and Capital Markets teams.
• Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and general research skills.
• 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, treasury, corporate finance, capital markets operations, investment banking, or related finance roles.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash flow analysis skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Operations, and external advisors.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SQL, Power BI, NetSuite, Tagetik, BlackLine, or other financial systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced public company environment with changing priorities and high execution requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex financial information into clear management-level insights.
• Comfortable attending professional events, speaking with external contacts, coordinating follow-ups, and representing the company in a polished manner.
• Familiarity with public-company communications, investor relations, financial markets, EV, AI, Robotics, or technology industries is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting public company finance, investor relations, capital markets, or strategic finance functions.
• Familiarity with financing transactions, including equity financing, convertible notes, warrants, registered offerings, private placements, or other capital markets instruments.
• Experience building dashboards, trackers, and internal reporting systems for management decision-making.
• Experience with liquidity planning, cash runway analysis, working capital management, or treasury operations.
• A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and strong personal ownership of execution
• Bilingual English and Chinese communication ability is a plus
• A true sense of determination -- and hopefully a sense of humor

Annual Salary Range:

($80,000.00-$90,000.00), plus benefits and incentive plans
