Senior Network Consultant | Financial Services | London

Join a leading financial services organisation as a Senior Network Consultant, where you'll shape the networks that keep critical business running across multi-site, hybrid and cloud environments.

The role
You'll design, deliver and optimise secure, resilient network services, working with architects, security, cloud and engineering teams to support the business. You'll bring structure and clarity to complex connectivity challenges and help move the organisation towards modern, cloud-aware and zero-trust networking.

What you'll bring

  • Strong fundamentals in routing, switching, firewalling, DNS, DHCP and VPN, with multi-site experience
  • Hands-on Cisco LAN, WAN and wireless expertise
  • Practical experience with Cato Networks or Zscaler, and a solid grasp of SASE, SD-WAN, ZTNA and SWG/CASB
  • Cloud networking on Azure and/or GCP, including VPCs/VNets, peering, hybrid connectivity and cloud security controls
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across hybrid environments
  • Good documentation and change management habits, with a bias towards automation and infrastructure-as-code

Nice to have

  • Kubernetes networking knowledge (CNI, ingress, service mesh)
  • Experience working in regulated financial services
