B1.3 Engineer

Are you a B1.3 Licensed Engineer? Do you have strong experience working on turbine rotorcraft and helicopter maintenance? Are you confident carrying out line maintenance, fault finding and defect rectification independently?
If so, a global aerospace and helicopter manufacturer based in Oxford is actively seeking a B1.3 Engineer to join their engineering team!

Outside IR35 Contract (6 month initial)
7 on / 7 off Shift Pattern (7:30 – 19:30)

B1.3 Engineer
Job Responsibilities:

• Carrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and defect rectification on helicopters, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and quality standards
• Performing line maintenance at customer locations, with regular travel required and a company van provided
• Completing maintenance across airframe structures, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems, including component and avionic LRU replacement
• Certifying completed maintenance and supervising maintenance fitters where required
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the hangar, including aircraft movements and general housekeeping

B1.3 Engineer
Essential Skills:

• Valid B1.3 Licence with experience working on turbine rotorcraft
• Strong knowledge of helicopter airframe and engine systems, with the ability to fault-find and troubleshoot independently
• Good understanding of UK CAA Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements

Desirable:

• Type ratings or experience on AS350, EC130, EC135/H135, EC145/H145 or H160
