Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python development
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter (development, enhancements, and support)
• Strong SQL and database skills, including creating/modifying database tables, views, and queries
• Experience in application design, development, testing, and support
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data validation
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills

 

Good to Have Skills

• Banking/Financial Services domain experience
• Unix/Linux scripting
• Data warehousing concepts
• CI/CD and version control tools (Git, Jenkins)

 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and test software solutions using Python and Informatica.
• Collaborate with business partners, architects, and development teams to ensure successful delivery of application solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and development tasks.
• Develop and maintain database objects including tables, views, and related components based on business requirements.
• Create and execute unit test cases and ensure high-quality, defect-free deliverables.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with onsite leadership, developers, and distributed teams. 
• Provide regular status updates and proactively escalate risks or issues. 
• Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring timely delivery. 
• Guide and mentor development team members and support technical decision-making. 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
