Companion Volunteer - Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, Somerset

Availability: Up to 3 hours per week

Time: Flexible to suit your schedule

Criteria: Minimum 18 years of age. Driving Licence an advantage but not essential

What you’ll do:

• Visit different patients at the Musgrove Park Hospital
• Each visit may be with a different person, offering variety and new conversations
• Share a cup of tea, a chat, or simply quiet companionship
• Listen to stories, memories, or just talk about the everyday

You’d be a great fit if you’re:

• Caring and compassionate nature
• Patience and good listening skills
• Comfortable with sensitive topics, such as death, dying and bereavement
• Able to commit to 3 hours a week
• Comfortable with email and completing a brief visit report
• Respectful of boundaries and confidentiality
