Our client is a multi-billion-dollar investment manager with a global investment platform focused on identifying and managing high-quality private market opportunities across asset classes. With an international presence and a long-term investment approach, the firm invests through fund managers, co-investments, and direct investments, providing access to leading investment opportunities worldwide.
Job Description
The responsibilities are:
  • Support the evaluation, selection, execution, and monitoring of private market investments across fund managers, co-investments, and direct investments.
  • Conduct financial modelling, investment analysis, and due diligence on prospective investment opportunities.
  • Participate in meetings with investment managers, portfolio companies, co-investors, and industry specialists, documenting and analysing key findings.
  • Develop and maintain research reports, market maps, and investment pipelines across private markets.
  • Assess investment strategies, company fundamentals, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and investment risks
  • Prepare investment committee materials, investment memos, presentations, scoring frameworks, and supporting recommendation documentation
  • Monitor portfolio investments through ongoing quantitative and qualitative analysis using investment management and reporting platforms.
  • Assist with portfolio reviews, performance reporting, risk analysis, and stakeholder reporting requirements.
  • Partner with technology teams to enhance investment analysis, workflow automation, portfolio monitoring, and data management processes.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and special investment-related initiatives as required

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Investment Associate should have:
  • 4-7 years of experience in private markets, private equity, investment management, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, family offices, or similar institutional investment environments.
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a comparable investment platform with exposure to transaction execution and portfolio oversight, with a focus on US markets
  • Experience evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting investment recommendation processes
  • Knowledge of private market investing, including fund investments, co-investments, and direct investments.
  • Interest in leveraging technology and AI tools to improve investment research, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesise complex information into clear recommendations.
