Job Description

CNC Maintenance Technician

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on CNC maintenance experience who can troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues on CNC machinery.

We are also open to 2nd or 3rd year technicians who have a strong foundation and are capable of handling smaller repairs.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
  • Potential for 12-hour days, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Occasional weekend work

Key Responsibilities

  • Replace and repair ball screws
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with CNC machinery
  • Perform spindle repairs
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on sensors, drives, and relays
  • Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC controls
  • Troubleshoot pump systems
  • Perform B-axis rebuilds
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC equipment

Qualifications

  • CNC machine maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with CNC drives, sensors, relays, and pump systems
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC controls
  • Experience with ball screws, spindles, and CNC axis repairs
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We will consider technicians with 2-3 years of experience who have the technical ability and hands-on skills to perform smaller CNC repairs.
