Physical Therapist (PT) | Part-Time to Full-time | Acute Inpatient | Arlington, TX
Join H2 Health as a Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) and make a meaningful impact while building your experience in an acute inpatient environment. We’re looking for a patient-centered clinician who values quality care, collaboration, and the opportunity to help patients regain mobility and function following hospitalization and surgical care.
This Physical Therapist position supports USMD Hospital in Arlington, Texas, providing acute inpatient and post-operative physical therapy care. The position will begin part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity as patient volume and caseload needs develop. This is a great opportunity for an experienced PT or a new graduate looking to contribute to high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
Your Role:
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring acute inpatient physical therapy.
- Provide skilled PT interventions to support mobility, strength, function, and safe recovery.
- Support patients with post-operative rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized, patient-centered plans of care based on clinical findings and functional goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety, and functional strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Texas Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
- CPR certification, as applicable to the facility.
- Ability to provide safe, effective physical therapy in an acute inpatient environment.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and collaboration skills.
- New graduates are welcome to apply; previous acute care or inpatient experience is a plus.
- Part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity.
