Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Starbucks is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the reliability and performance of our customer- and partner-facing systems in the Accommodation & Food Services space. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, perform manual and automated tests, track and analyze defects, and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and operations teams. You'll help validate point-of-sale, mobile, and store-support applications, supporting a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and innovation that aligns with Starbucks' values of community, sustainability, and partner growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Identify, log, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform regression, integration, and user-acceptance testing for new features and releases.
• Validate performance, reliability, and usability of point-of-sale and store-support applications.
• Contribute to test strategy, test automation coverage, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Analyze test results and provide clear quality metrics and reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure testing aligns with Starbucks' standards for security, data integrity, and customer experience.
