• Prints out, displays or provides maintenance workforce with a copy of the weekly maintenance schedule to ensure proper coding on "Daily Maintenance Reports".
• Assists in the determination of priority of repair work through consultation with the Operations and Plant Head, as necessary.
• Obtain lists of necessary parts for repair tasks from maintenance workforce and creates the BOMs.
• Performs root cause analysis, as needed for chronic breakdown or failure problems.
• Consults with Regional Asset Manager on potential serious problems and predictive maintenance needs as required.
• Audits and trains equipment operators in the performance of their daily equipment inspections.
• Maintains all equipment files in a complete and timely fashion.
• Performs cycle counts on parts inventories as needed and ensures that proper requisitions are completed to issue parts from inventory.
• Interface with equipment vendors and parts suppliers as needed.
• Review the component tracking system database for completeness and accuracy.
• EAM review and analyses the asset wise OEE.
• Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget
.• Plan the maintenance activities with the Maintenance Manager well in advance and control the Inventory.
• Creates and maintains the maintenance backlog from all sources of data by raising WOs for all equipment defects discovered.
• Performs FMEA analysis of all equipment with assistance from Production and Maintenance Supervisors.
Field experience also required for this position.
At least 5-8 years experience required in manufacturing and Processed plants.
Diploma or B. Tech equivalent qualification required.
