Duales Studium Soziale Arbeit (B.A.) | Dresden, Germany | On-site

This employer is seeking motivated individuals to embark on a dual study program in Social Work. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while pursuing a recognized Bachelor's degree, contributing meaningfully to society. The program offers specialized tracks to tailor your education to specific areas of social work.

The Role

  • Gain comprehensive insights into areas such as socio-psychiatric support, educational assistance, and pedagogical school support.
  • Support colleagues in practical, goal-oriented pedagogical assistance within individual living spaces, family life, and educational contexts.
  • Deepen your knowledge in one of four specialized fields: Childhood Pedagogy, Social Work with Adults, Child and Youth Welfare, or Schooling.
  • Experience practical phases with a nearby partner company.
  • Receive a state-recognized Bachelor's degree with practice-oriented content.
  • Engage in learning within small groups and benefit from close interaction with instructors.

What You'll Need

  • A (Technical) University Entrance Qualification, a qualified vocational qualification, or certification as a state-certified technician or business administrator.
  • German language proficiency at B2 level.
  • Traits such as diligence, responsibility, and discretion.
  • Empathy, sensitivity, enjoyment of working with people, and resilience.
  • Ideally, prior experience through a voluntary social year (FSJ), federal voluntary service, or other volunteer work.
