Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in electrical distribution design and power system studies for process/manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LV distribution systems, MCCs, VFDs, 480V panels, electrical studies, and industry standards including NEC, UL 508A, IEEE, and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical distribution systems for FMCG/process plants.
• Perform power system studies for plant electrical distribution systems.
• Discuss project requirements and scope with clients.
• Collect engineering inputs and develop engineering packages.
• Coordinate with vendors and site construction teams.
• Support panel studies and ensure UL 508A compliance.
• Develop BOMs, single-line diagrams, elementary drawings, and equipment arrangements.
• Perform cable, conduit, cable tray, lighting, and grounding calculations.
• Support power and control panel design.
• Lead/support IQ/OQ activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements and applicable standards.

Required Skills:

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical system studies for process/manufacturing plants.
• Strong LV electrical distribution design experience.
• Experience with MCCs, VFDs, 480V panels, transformers, substations, and distribution panels.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, UL 508A, IEEE, and NFPA 70E.
• Experience with cable/conduit sizing and cable tray design.
• Experience with lighting and grounding design.
• Ability to develop SLDs, elementary drawings, BOMs, equipment layouts, and engineering information packages.
• Experience coordinating with clients, vendors, and construction teams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety requirements.
• Experience with IQ/OQ activities.
